Marianna Kosharovsky is the Executive Director of ALIGHT (Alliance to Lead Impact in Global Human Trafficking), which works to increase justice for survivors of human trafficking. Ms. Kosharovsky brings professional and leadership experience across issues of human rights, law and international collaboration in both the US and Eastern Europe/Russia. She specializes in driving partnerships to advance efficiency in anti-trafficking efforts through technological tools.
Prior to ALIGHT, Ms. Kosharovsky represented survivors of labor exploitation and human trafficking from Russia and Ukraine at Sanctuary for Families, as well as international corporate clients at Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy, in New York. In Eastern Europe/Russia, she worked on human rights development and bridging gaps in private sector-nonprofit collaboration at PILnet: Global Network for Public Interest Law, and was a Visiting Professor at Pericles Center for International Legal Education, an LLM program for Russian attorneys. She sits on the Board of Directors of the International Peace Research Association Foundation. Ms. Kosharovsky holds a JD from NYU Law.
